Spike Brewing

I haven’t fermented in it yet, I ordered a Pliny the Elder kit from MoreBeer, and I hope to make it this weekend. The flex is very solid, it is very well made. The only thing I’ve noticed so far is the hole in the lid where the airlock goes has a sharp edge and put a slice in the airlock. I’m concerned, after a few uses, some of the rubber may cut off and fall into the beer inside. I don’t know for sure that will happen, but it’s something I’ll definitely be watching for.

Looks like excellent quality workmanship and the top equipment for the coast and the customer service is top notch had a part that was broken in the shipment email them took phot and sent the email and they were right on it and sent a new part had it by the end of the week. Your team rock's will be doing more buys of equipment later for sure

I love my new spike solo 20 gal, absolutely great system. Order came on time and all my questions before I pulled the trigger were answered fast. Only improvement I could think of for next generation particularly to my set up would be that one of the pickup tubes would almost touch the bottom of the kettle so after cleaning when draining, all the remaining content would be drained so there is no need to turn the pot upside down to get the last bit out. However I can always buy a longer one myself.

I think the product is great, and your team is even better. I had some issues, and they were quickly resolved. I built the base over the summer and assembled the system and got the wiring in and working this fall. Laundry room is now Beer Room! I actually have my first IPA batch bubbling away in the fermenter as we speak. Your process guides and pro tips were a big help. Sure hope I get to taste this batch. came out with an IG of 1.063, and it is bubbling away merrily, so here's hoping for hopping! THanks, Tom Reed
