Spike Brewing

I have multiple products from Spike at this point, and each time the craftsmanship is top notch and the customer service is quick and helpful when necessary. I highly recommend Spike to anyone considering purchasing new brewing equipment.

Great quality products, clean welds inside and out on my new CF5, I wish they would come up with custom lids options with more tri-clamp ports maybe even a forward 4” port for a window while using the cooling coil would be great. But overall great quality for the price. The two piece lid is what sold me you can clean it completely and the band clamp is tight and does not leak.

I preordered the steam condensing lid. Couldn't wait for it to arrive. It works awesome. I hook up cooling water direct and collect it in buckets. I just have to pay attention that I don't overfill the bucket as that stops the vacuum and quickly starts to foam up. I find that I only boil off about 3 quarts in an one hour boil, so I had to adjust my starting quantity accordingly.

Excellent gear; absolutely no complaints

Shipping was very fast, everything was flawless! Just kegged my first brew with this fermenter and the best one I have ever made! Ordered the cooling kit and pressuring kit to force carb and the O2 diffuser. All worked perfect!! The cooling coil made the biggest difference as brew temp stayed right where it was supposed to! Back to loving to brew again!!
