I wrote to Garrett before

I wrote to Garrett before placing an expensive order for my son's birthday -- he's serving our country overseas -- to ask about shipping to APO addresses. USPS and UPS treat them as domestic mail and I wanted to see if Garrett did too. I was told yes, that Garrett did this all the time. After the package never arrived Garrett changed its tune, saying "APO is treated like a PO Box" and that if I reship, I'd be doing it at my own financial risk. If it goes missing again, I'm out the money. Had Garrett said this when I first asked, I would not have placed the original order. Garrett, there's a young man from Chicago on a three-year overseas deployment who misses home and would have been thrilled to get the expensive order you said would could ship. I can't afford to ship it at my risk, if I paid for it and you ship product as a core part of your business, you should reship at your risk or give me a refund. So disappointed in Garrett.

Purchased 2 large bags of

Purchased 2 large bags of the Chicago Mix at the Navy Pier and it was not a fresh bag. I reported it to the customer service department and was informed that they were sorry that happened. I was not offered a replacement due to not having a receipt. I later purchased another Family Tin to replace my mother's original order and attempt to please her dissatisfaction. Only after purchase and at this point was I offered a $50 credit. The problem was with this was the following once I received item in the mail: 1. Popcorn was not mixed it was layered (scoop of cheese, then scoop of carmel) 2. Carmel corn was small and appeared to be the bottom of the remaining corn cooked 3. The ratio of cheese to carmel was at minimum was 3 to 1 cheese to carmel 4. Cheese popcorn was extremely salty and almost uneaten (tossed out) 5. The $50 credit does not cover the cost of a Family Tin 6. The service was less than satisfactory. Learned lessons was tryout the product before you buy, every bag can be different, no consistency in the product from location and vendors. Dissatisfaction because the business has changed of servicing the customer. What was is no longer an Icon of the popcorn world for lovers of the Chicago Mix.
