I have purchased two WA TB12s and now a WA-412 from ZenAudio. Both TB12s have to John Hardy Op amp swap, which you can order the TB12 pre installed from Zen! I mainly use the beasts for overheads, guitar, and vocal. The Hardy Op amp gives is a little more sizzle in the transients, but the best way to describe the John Hardy is it give a massive 3D vibe to anything you send to it. The WA412 just adds more of the same, now allowing me to have full analog control over the entire drum kit. It’s adds a tone of vibe to snare and kick, and pushing a ribbon mic hard for room mics adds a great dash of dirty flavor. So far everything I have from warm audio is top shelf. Now for the real prize! I have had nothing but stellar customer service from Zen Pro audio. The options for mods, fast shipping, quick response to questions, and the personable touch that Zen has provided me has made me a life long customer. I had some very specific questions about the WA-412 and my guy at Zen reached out to the president of Warm Audio and had an answer within minutes! And let’s not forget about the coffee beans! Nice touch!
