Purchased the Drawmer 1978 specifically as a drum bus compressor. The 1978 allows the drum machines to sit properly in synthesizer dense mixes. I haven't tested this unit on acoustic drums but I'm sure it would be amazing at that as well. On tracks needing some mid-forward glue, this certainly will handle that kind of 2-bus duty. With a plethora of features and tweaks, this compressor is a very versatile tool. I am happy with my purchase and the exquisite service from Zen Pro. Thank you Warren!
