Great tele set

I see a lot of guitar players talk about PAFs and I have had the pleasure of playing some amazing vintage guitars that have (REAL) PAFs in them and some have been amazing and some not. The PAF thing is very subjective and really depends on the player and their setup. I've finally come to the conclusion that if the pickup sounds good and inspires me? Then it's good!!! And the Tributes are GREAT!!!! I had them installed in a PRS Grissom and the guitar just SINGS!!! They clean up fantastic and they are very responsive, not flat at all, not to mention the build quality is superb. I can't say these are the best PAF style pickups in the market, but I can say these are some of the best pickups I've ever played and I can not see anyone being disappointed with a set of Tributes in there guitar!!! My 2-Cents.

These are some of the best PAF style humbuckers I've tried. They are low-output, articulate, and very crisp sounding. They respond well to height and pole piece changes. Highly recommended. -Mike

Cheers to Shep and crew! The Tributes are amazing. Articulate and balanced, with tons of character. The aged covers were an excellent choice for my Les Paul! Your recipe for the A5 design allowed me to get plenty of attack, and sets my LP up naturally to make more use of the tone controls. So much versatility just by adjusting the height & pole pieces!
