Very disappointed!!

I have been an enthusiastic rokform customer for a while now. I've bought 5 cases only because of phone upgrades. I gave them 2 stars because of the old cases I've bought were awesome. If I hadn't I would be giving them a 1 or less. They decided to make the good tuff cases $90+ and are selling a $9 dollar quality case for $39+. The new Crystal series case is terrible. The case with magnet doesn't work for mounting because the phone it's made for is to heavy and turns as soon as you put phone to it. Them the rubber surround doesn't last long and starts coming off within a couple months. Not the old rokform quality at all!!! Going to sell the warranty replacement and buy something else. I was buying the $5.99 - $8.99 cases to hold me over till they released the case for my phone and looks like I will go back to them since they last at least 6 months and are slimmer. I will still keep an eye on the rokform choices just in case they begin to offer the tuff case at the right price again or at all. What a bummer :-(

Still unanswered questions

I sent a request for info. The response came timely but the response did not answer my question fully. I sent another question and the response did come back but I cannot find the product the help desk spoke of. I wish they sent the link. I sent another request back and have still not heard back. I am just looking for the 20lb pull magnet sticker on your website and would like to know how thick it is. I also wanted to know if I could find this on Amazon.ca as my company gets free shipping.

Broken kickstand after broken kickstand.

I bought the Rokform case for my iPad mini mostly because I liked the design and the fact that it was made in the USA. While the case itself has been pretty good, the main design feature of being able to deploy a kickstand in multiple positions is now useless. The hinges are incredibly fragile. One broke shortly after I bought it. Rokform was good enough to send me a replacement kickstand and I treated it like fine china. I didn't put pressure on it, didn't overextend it, didn't use it extended for more leverage when removing it. Still broke at the hinges! Now that I'm looking to purchase a replacement kickstand since it's out of warranty, Rokform product support wrote me an email telling me that item has been discontinued. Really disappointed but not surprised.

Overall Case is OK

The overall case for the S7 seems respectable but not the same quality as some of the iphone cases. There are in my opinion a couple of flaws. First the case doesn't work with the wireless charger. This may not be a big deal for some but at the least is should be posted on the website that it won't work. The second is that there could be more of a raised edge around the screen. There is very little difference between the edge of the case and the screen so there is zero protection for a screen down drop. The last thing that would be nice would be if there was something I could put in the area for the bike mount. I will not be using the bike mount so now I just have a big hole in the back of the case which allows dirt to get in and collect.

Low quality Rokform bike stem mount and phone case for iPhone 6s Plus

Bike Mount Kit - iP6 PLUS/6s PLUS w/ Black Sport V.3 331799-iP6PL US I was disappointed with the Rokform bike stem mount and phone case for iPhone 6s Plus that I purchased when I bought the phone in March and started using the mount/phone case for the first time. I emailed the customer service representative who had emailed me confirmation of the Rokform purchase back in December when I purchased the product. I didn't hear back after a week, so I emailed customer service. I received a prompt reply this time but it wasn't very helpful for a couple reasons. One, the email said that heating the case helps get it on and off the phone. Two, one of my questions -- the case's volume controls don't work well so I asked if there was a trick to using them -- wasn't addressed. So I'm a little disappointed in your customer service. As for the product, there are some strong positives but some equally strong negatives and I'm disappointed overall. The positives: The case connects very securely to the stem mount. I feel very confident that the phone isn't going to be disconnected from the mount when I'm riding. I haven't dropped the phone yet but I feel good about the toughness of the case if I do drop it. The stem mount was easy to install, as advertised. The negatives: The volume buttons on the case don't work well. Often when I push the + button the volume actually goes down. And often when I push the - button the volume goes up. The case is very difficult to take on and off the phone. This means that for all practical purposes the case is a permanent fixture on the phone. The arm of the stem mount can't be positioned to take video while riding. Your website totes "unparalleled adjustability." A quick search shows there are products on the market that allow a range of motion for capturing video while riding. Regardless of the veracity of the claim on your site, your product should provide the full functionality of recording video of what's in front of the rider as he/she rides. The price of the Rokform is high given the quality issues detailed above. Here's the email I sent to customer service: In December, I purchased a Rokform bike stem mount and phone case for iPhone 6s Plus. I recently purchased the phone and was finally able to use the Rokform bike mount and phone case. The mount install on the bike was quick and easy but I've noticed other issues that I wanted to bring to your attention. The case is difficult to get on an off the phone. This means that the case will have to be on the phone pretty much permanently, which I hadn't counted on when I ordered the case. Perhaps because the case fit is so tight, a second big issue is that the volume buttons on the left side of the cover don't work well. Sometimes when I push the minus button the volume actually goes up instead of down. Sometimes when I push the plus button the volume doesn't move up. Is there a trick to using the volume controls? I'm disappointed in the flexibility of the mount. If I want to record video of what's ahead of me as I bike, I have to angle the mount as high up as it will go but it's still not high enough. And as high up -- as close to perpendicular -- as it will go it's very loose. So it seems like if I wanted to adjust the angle of the mount I'd need to keep an Allen wrench with me to tighten. Am I doing something wrong? Have other customers passed along any tips for recording video of what's in front of you while riding? Thanks, Jeremy Church
