I am amazed at the quality of the structure, mechanical features and pleased beyond words over the quality of optics of the microscope we ordered (Model #?). Along with my wife, I started the first all science hobby store in America in 1961, which included the sale of microscopes and large reflector type telescopes. We would not handle the toy microscopes and only the ones featuring achromatic compound lens, including ones up in the $500.00 price range in the 1960s.
