Decline in quality and design

From my first element case (sector for iPhone 5) I’ve noticed a decline in quality and design.

Good but not great

Case was ok. Manufacturing was ok, fit and finish also just ok. A letdown to get a black ops and not feel very stoked about it. Stayed on the phone for about three weeks before I took it off for something lighter and higher quality.

Element Case color discoloration

I received the case about 6 months ago and it’s already losing color on the blue metal bands on the side of the case. It looks all faded and Expected more for $100 case

Quality control?

I’ve bought many element cases, some good some not so much. Seems like the materials they use have gotten cheaper over time and the designs just aren’t as solid as they once were... a lot of the new clip style cases come apart easily and randomly, I miss the old scew style. I gave them a 2 Star because they are expensive cases and I have spent a lot of money as a repeat customer hoping they will go back to the quality and design they used to have, only to be disappointed. It’s ok though lesson learned I will now spend my money on UAG cases.

Quality Lowered

I bought one of these cases for both my iPhone 5 and iPhone 6, the 5 was the Ducati Themed one, and it survived the phone being launched off the bike due to a bad holder I used to secure it to the bike. Yah! It did it's job. I then got a Sector Pro for my iPhone 6, it was, like the previous case, secured with screws and very durable. Now the iPhone 7, got another Sector case, and no screws to secure the case. Placing the phone in a Jeep console drink holder, the bottom would come loose when the phone was picked up. This may be my fault, but what would happen to the $150 case if it too, were to be launched from a bike, or tossed out of a car at 55 as they advertise? The case coming apart eventually led to the bottom portion of the iPhone 7 was being lost, and without a full, well put together case, it's junk. I'm sure some folks didn't like the screws to hold the case together, but it's what made the thing strong, not some cheesy plastic clips...for $100+
