Shipping did not answer my question about compatibility between earlier dashcam model and the new one. As a result, the new dashcam was not wire-compatible. I had to take it to the physical store to have it installed with different cables. Extra cost - not a big deal. Agent was cordial and did the work quickly. It's running correctly now.
