TelescopesPlus

Site was flawless. I received my telescope early without any hassle. Good experience.

The scope gives beyond satisfactory views of my favorite objects, that I would normally view with my much larger 8 inch dobsonian, but on the go. It comes with a bracket for a phone or DSLR which is really cool for taking panning time lapses. The eyepieces that come with the scope have a plastic housing, which made me question their quality, but the optics were not too bad at all. This scope is like the perfect little all in one for me. I can take it anywhere because it is small, provides great planetary and comet views because it uses lenses, (compared to my reflector), it comes with a solar filter which takes solar viewing on the go (which will be especially useful during the 2017 solar eclipse in August), it is easily compatible with devices such as my phone and DSLR as mentioned earlier, and I can also use my Astrophotography camera through the scope and use the base's auto tracking ability to take time lapses. I had only one problem with it, however. I had to return the first one because it ceased to turn. One of the gears slipped, I assume, so I had to have it replaced. Otherwise, it is a great product for the price I paid.

The staff was helpful and assisted me in my selection. Delivery was well done.
