I ordered a celestron power

I ordered a celestron power seeker EQ for my husband for his birthday. He loves it! We have an Eagles nest about 5 or 600 yards away from our house and using this puts us 2 feet away. Amazing!! I must add this company is top notch! We weren't home when it was delivered; somehow there was a huge mess up and we were delivered 11 instead of 1 telescope. I informed them, so they could have them picked up; long story short because of the high cost of shipping them back they told me to keep them. Donate to a school or library etc... since it's Christmas time 4 or 5 will go as gifts and the rest donated. Thanks a million! Will tell everyone about your company Sincerely grateful. Kathy ridge

Great for eyepiece projection!

I used the duo eyepiece for planetary photography and it works great. The ability to use a full 2" eyepiece and then simply thread on a t-ring make for super easy set up and great results with very little light loss. Even using it as a standard eyepiece they still have good eye relief and a decent field of view for the price.

Nexstar 6 SE and StarSense

All as advertised. Quick and easy to order and delivered promptly. Scope, lens kit and power tank package deal a good bargain. Would recommend this merchant.

Getting back into the hobby.

I haven't touched a telescope since I was a kid, but have always loved astronomy. I wanted to get back into the hobby and did a lot of research on a good starting scope. I chose the Zhumell Z8. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person, but the assembly took a little less than an hour. There were no printed instructions in the box, but TelescopesPlus has a PDF on their site that is easily downloadable. I printed that off and loaded up an assembly video from Zhumell that's on YouTube and between the two of those it was pretty easy and straightforward to assemble. It's a bit big and awkward, but not too heavy. Unfortunately I chose Fall in the Pacific Northwest to buy a telescope, so I've only had one nice night to get the scope out, but am looking forward to years of enjoyment and learning with this. I had two issues with accessories that came with the scope and a quick call in to TelescopesPlus had replacements on the way. Given how poor a lot of company's customer service is I was gearing up for a "fight", but the rep I spoke with was very helpful and I had my replacement parts a week later. So far I'm pleased with both the telescope and with the service.
