This is an excellent telescope for beginning to intermediate astronomers. My grandkids figured out how to use it right away, thanks to excellent instructions for setting up and operating

The NexStar 8 is a great telescope. It is very well made and has great tracking capability. It is heavy but gives great stability. I use my iPad and connect to the scope via its WiFi and once I locate what I want to view, just hit GoTo for the scope to seek out the selection. Love this scope.

I've had the CPC925 telescope for a couple of weeks now and I am amazed at it's performance. The Schmidt-Cassegrain optics, with the StarBright XLT Coatings, provides very sharp images. The twin fork mount and heavy-duty tripod are very steady. The SkyAlign feature is easy to use and is very accurate. I typically use the auto two star align which is fast. I have begun to experiment with deep-sky astrophotography. Short exposure (10sec to 30sec) photos of nebulae and star clusters look amazing. I'll have to invest in the equatorial wedge for long exposure astrophotography. The customer service at TelescopesPlus is great. Help or additional information is just a phone call away.

Superior customer service, especially when answering technical questions. I never once felt as if my probably mundane questions were answered short or dismissively. I bought numerous accessory items that I could have gotten for slightly less elsewhere simply because they are so helpful.
