quick note: I recently went on an Alaskan adventure sheep hunt north of the artic circle. We floated a river that flows into the Artic ocean. I packed my sat phone to check in with family---no satellite connection! My buddy ask what type of sat phone I have, says the only sat phone that has sat service is Iridium? Is that true, do you guys have satellites available that far north? I have used it on ther southern tip of Kodiak Island, but--no sevice up north. I guess I should have checked before I left. No problems with anything else, great service, just my poor planning:)
