Had high hopes but hardware performed poorly

Device looks great, but manufacturer does provide misleading information on the Zigbee page, claiming support for Smartthings, when in reality features are missing.

I was originally going to go with a Zigbee thermostat (or possibly more) but the website would not allow me to order without telling them which hub I am using. I have a HydroHome hub that I got from BC Hydro which is a zigbee platform. I sent off a couple of inquires to Sinopetech and asked how to go about ordering if my hub was not on the list and if I could even use it with my hub. I received zero response either time. Since the window for the rebates were closing I had to make up my mind and decided to just go with a single wifi thermostat. I am happy with the product that I bought but totally displeased with customer support. So instead of buying 2 or three zigbee thermostats, I bought 1 wifi. So Sinopetech lost out on a sale and now the thermostat I bought is not capable of communicating with my hub., all because nobody could be bothered to answer my question. Would I buy from sinopetech again. I honestly don't know. Apparently customer service is non-existent.

Le produit acheté était en fait incompatible avec mon système, mais le retour à mes frais, aura couté 27$ - plutôt chère pour un achat de 150$ qui ne porte pas fruit! La compagnie devrait comme bien d’autre faciliter les retours en cas d’incompatibilité.
