Technical issue. Thermostats would constantly disconnect from wifi. No solution in the troubleshooting page on the sinope website. On Reddit, found this was an issue many people were having and Sinope was unable to resolve. I ended up fixing it without Sinope support. When I advised an agent that I’d fixed it (changed the wireless mode of my access point) the agent did not seem interested in my solution. This wifi constantly disconnecting issue should be added to the Sinope website with troubleshooting steps to resolve (changing wireless mode in access point to b/g/n/ax). When I posted this solution in Reddit I had multiple people respond saying this fixed their issue. It’s disappointing that the hardware has wifi issues like this in 2024. It should be more compatible with different wireless setups (frequencies and modes).

shipping was a bit faster this time

Great product. The website is easy to navigate. Shipping was prompt and the packaging was great on some products and needs more work on others. Technically, their support team is lacking a bit. I presented an unusaul request and had to order and experiment with which one of their roducts worked best for my problem. Shared the findings with their team.

Website. Ordered the Calypso. System should have proposed the water leak detector, which I forgot to order.

Would have given 5 stars for the ease of ordering, value, delivery time and quality of product. The only disappointment it that although there is a 3 year warranty, I strongly believe that will be useless to many people who install the devices themselves, as per Sinopetech's policy. Otherwise, although using them for about a month, very happy, and do believe the thermostats will be much more efficient than my prior and mechanical devices; no more constant twiddling about to find an okay temperature. I feel they will most likely will save me money on the hydro bill.
