Jeremy and the guys at 3D Universe have excellent customer service! The Ultimaker is an excellent printer and if you run Simplify3D it's even better! The printer is fast and produces smooth prints. Since the printer is open source you can use any brand of filament which will allow you to try carbon fiber, wood, nylons, etc! In addition, I recommend the extended which will allow for larger prints with fewer seams!

As a business owner myself, we take pride and the fact that we are more well-known for our customer service then for our products. The same goes here when it comes to 3-D Universe. Whenever I pick up the phone of which most of the time Jeremy answers, he not only answers all my questions, but gives me pointers and tips and when it comes to customer service, Jeremy and his staff are unsurpassed. 3D Universe’s PLA works great with my Ultimaker 2. I always recommend it for others looking for quality plastic for this machine.
