I got a great future proof Fiber HDMI cable from SF. The fiber HDMI cable is much better than my 40' copper. I intend to upgrade my projector to 4K and my long copper HDMI cable would probably not do well. After 20 years my copper was starting to degrade picture quality at only 1080. Also, there is no possibility for electronic interference with fiber and the pervasiveness of LEDs require shielding or a switch to fiber. LEDs do generate EMI that copper can accumulate and that wasn't an big issue before LEDs became so common. I was rougher than I wanted to be on the cable fishing it through walls and ceilings but it held up. So far I am completely satisfied with SF.
