The shipping was excellent. It took just a few days from the USA to Portugal, something that usually takes at least a week. I had to pay local VAT and taxes, which is expected, plus handling fees to DHL, which were a bit more than usual, but that’s fair. Satechi has clear information on the website that local taxes had to be paid, and it would be difficult to guess how much they are in advance, so this is fair. The delivery communication with local DHL was better than expected. The DHL person was out in the morning, delivering stuff, and at the same time, I got the notification for the taxes, so when the DHL person arrived at my door, the taxes were already paid, and the deliver concluded.
