I meant to have seen about a review as soon as I got my SBG-1184 18-inch, 4-ohm subwoofer but time got away from me, so, glad they prompted. INSTANT bass gratification. Rapid shipping. Whatever you are running for amplification from your TV/car stereo, etc. , don't worry about improving that until you get a (was gonna order 2 - 1 is enough to try it, lol - I WILL buy more!) SBG-1184 OR, if you have a standard need for an 8-ohm unit, they have those as well (SBG-1188); You may consider a PoWeReD 18-inch sub (built-in amplifier) if you are NOT gonna put one in your car stereo setup. I was like 'Yeah, a little more bottom end' - My car stereo does not get down below about 40 Hz, so. . . then, I put tunes on that are MADE to show off Subs and Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww. . . 'Oh, yeah, this is gonna rock my living room!!!' It did. It does, and I'll be grinning the entire time. This is the BEST price I was able to find for about 6 months mulling it over. Done. Deal. CanNot be happier. Get one to start with. You'll want more!!! Again, INSTANT bass gratification and a great-looking unit, as well.
