I was very interested in purchasing a REL subwoofer T/7x as my first choice to pair with my PMC Twenty5 22i speakers. After extensive research, REL was clearly the model that best matched my system and preferences. Unfortunately, I was unable to purchase one. There is currently no official REL distributor or authorized dealer in Japan. Parallel imports are available, but they come without the official 3-year warranty and proper local support, which made the purchase risk too high. As a result, I reluctantly purchased a KEF KC92 instead. Japan has a strong high-end audio market, and many enthusiasts (including myself) would prefer REL if proper local distribution, warranty, and after-sales service were available. I sincerely hope REL will consider establishing an official presence in Japan in the future. Thank you for reading my feedback.

I have had the Classic 98 for about a month now and think it has now run in, about 50 hours. I bought it to compliment my valve pre and power amps and Audio Physic floor standing speakers. The set up was trial and error and in my room it's position was to the side of the left speaker. It has done more than I hoped, extending the bass but also the midband which I cannot explain why but I am very happy with the results. It is a very classy subwoofer which looks more like a piece of furniture, the walnut finish is superb.
