Great product for cooking, whilst saving energy and saving hassle. Have had this for just over a month now and cooked a number of casseroles. This is why I love it: Bring to boil on the stove for about 20 minutes, Then seal it in the pot and done - Quick and easy. My electric crockpot would steam off so much liquid that it was difficult to control liquid levels - now that isn't a problem. My crockpot has to run for a whole day, dangerously hot at the edges, and using lots of electricity - now that isn't a problem. Slow cooking on the gas stove means I need to also have the exhaust fan running the whole time - extra cost and hassle. Love the simplicity of the BillyBoil. Meat & Veg casserole can be cooked in just over 3 hours, But I try to let it have 4-5 hours. Can't wait to take this out for dinner at a friend's house.
