I'm Jose Acevedo Negron, professional

I'm Jose Acevedo Negron, professional Digital Producer and Experience Creator, I recently purchased the Duex Max Portable Dual Screen Laptop Monitor and have been using it extensively, particularly during the National Association of Hispanic Journalists Convention. As a digital producer, it has significantly helped me manage multiple projects without carrying too much equipment. However, there are a few key points to consider: Performance in Different Lighting Conditions - Excellent in Low Light: The monitor works exceptionally well in dark or low-light environments. The display is clear, and the brightness levels are sufficient for comfortable viewing. - Challenging in Bright Light: Dark colors are not easily discernible in brightly lit areas. This can be a drawback if you often work in such settings. Screen and Battery Efficiency - Non-Glass Screen: The screen resembles those found in laptops from about five years ago. This is beneficial as it helps conserve the battery life of the device you are using it with, a crucial feature for on-the-go productivity. Portability and Convenience - Lightweight and Practical: The monitor is designed to be portable and easy to use, making it ideal for events and travel. - Limited Magnets: One downside is that the package only includes four magnets, which means you can only attach the monitor to one computer at a time. If you need to switch between devices, you will have to purchase additional magnets. Design Concerns - Lacks Built-In Stand: It does not come with a stand for use with devices like the Surface or a smartphone. Although there is an accessory available for this purpose, it doesn't make sense that the monitor has a small plastic stick intended to provide extra support, adding weight and potentially causing damage to the original device. - Plastic Quality: While the price of $169 in discount for the 4 of July is reasonable, the quality of the plastic and joints feels flimsy. This raises concerns about durability and the possibility of the monitor breaking into pieces. Final Thoughts Overall, the Duex Max Portable Dual Screen Laptop Monitor is a good product for young creators looking to build their portable setups. It offers significant advantages for productivity, especially for those on the move, but there are areas where it could be improved. If you’re starting out in content creation and need an extra screen without breaking the bank, this monitor is worth considering. However, be mindful of its limitations and potential durability issues.

I am enjoying my new

I am enjoying my new Duex Max. It seems much sturdier than the Duex Plus I bought last year (which the screen has broken hence the purchase of the Max). But, on of the metal plates for the magnet is already detached from the screen.
