Was a little tricky as the rubber fitting didn't hold on well but it did the job and saved sending it away and paying for a service plus the time delay!

yes and no

Problem: the mounting holds for the tube holder have changed in size since my last set (4 years ago) - going from 4 mm to 3.5 mm. I forced it and cracked the cartridge. Positive - the addition of soft silicone plugs for bleeding with a syringe is a good improvement over the older ones. Just about to have another try now.

Didn't work for me

The kit as supplied seemed to be good value but I could not get the printer to accept the ink cartridges. I followed the instructions and rang support who suggested some solutions which were not in the supplied instructions but that also failed. I rang support a second time but the tech support person was not available. I was told they would ring back but they didn't. I read all the FAQ's and tried various other solutions like turning the printer off at the mains and leaving it off for some time. I tried cleaning the chip contacts and pressing the chips down into contact as suggested in the FAQ. I was surprised to find a warning in the instructions that the printer firmware should not be upgraded but since this printer was several years old it is likely that this has happened at some point and now I don't know if this could be causing the problem. I had previously been using another brand of CISS. I finally gave up after the cartridges leaked ink all over my desk, hands and floor. Unfortunately, this whole exercise has been a complete waste of money for me.
