We went back and forth on which mantel mount to get and decided motorized was the way to go. It is so convenient and we feel so high tech when we push a button and the TV comes down and swivels to the perfect spot.

We had a center stud and reframed to be able to install the box. Since we already had the wall open we followed the instructions for "new construction" which meant we could mount the box without having to use the brackets. It makes the whole setup look so sleek and clean. Our mantel is only about 7" deep, so we really wanted to be able to recess the mount to get our TV as close to the wall as possible and this is perfect. 10/10 recommend

Workers advertised took a lot of vibration out of my TV

Works great. We love the way we can turn it and raise and lower the tv. It is a project to put together but all the parts are there and the instructions are pretty good. We were told that the same type of mount is available for much less money.

We're so glad we made the right call buying this mount. It's awesome and super easy to lower the TV right where we want it.
