I love this mount! We can watch the TV at a comfortable height, at the perfect angle. Then return it home and turn it into an art galley. And I don’t even have to get close to it to do it!

This mount is heavy duty and should stand up to years of use. My mounting location was unique in that I drilled through faux stone to mount into the wood frame wall. This required some larger bolts and spacers, but worked out very well. The box was beat to pieces but the shipper so there were missing parts, but MantelMount customer service shipped out replacements quickly.

It was a little tricky to mount onto my stone veneer fireplace, but that is not the fault of the mount, just me not knowing where studs were and the challenge of drilling through a couple inches of stone. Also, working around the outlet was a bit of a challenge and took some planning. Once mounted to the wall, the rest of the install was a breeze. I love not having to look up so high all the time to watch tv, but it is awesome to be able to put it up for a fire. If you want to have a lot of stuff on your mantle for decor, you will have to mount this higher and will loose some of the benefit of dropping it down to eye height, but at least it would be crazy high for watching. It is very easy to move back and forth from low to high, but I think if I had a bunch of stuff to move every time, I would end up leaving either up or down most of the time.

Have been using this at multiple properties since 2017. I love this mount - especially with the recess box. It’s sturdy, customizable, and is the perfect combination of aesthetic and functional
