Wanted a portable power station with a decent box. For the quality and features I couldn't build one for the price. I wasn't going to use the dc to dc charger so went with the straight box and connected a victron solar charge controller mppt 20 amp to one of the anderson powerpole connectors. I use this at a cabin for two small refrigerators and can go almost two full days without solar. With solar it runs like a champ. You wouldn't be disappointed if you get one. I also have a 140 amp hour lithium ion phosphate battery instead of a 100 amp hour battery. The only thing is I wish I could fit a shunt inside the box. You could buy a mini lithium battery and the shunt would fit. Overall I have no complaints these guys are a great help.
