HIDEit Mounts

The product is fine, well-built, does its job. However, the Nintendo Switch *doesn't work* when it's behind our 2015 LG 65" flatscreen TV, which makes the Hideit mount mostly useless to have. I say mostly, as in 90%, because it's still 10% useful for hiding the thing when it's not in use... but very inconvenient to have to get it out every time we want to use it.

Product works like a charm, sturdy and all that. Order came with no instructions, was incomplete, and they keep emailing every damn day me even after I unsubscribed.

The mount is an excellent concept, however, the only thing holding the PlayStation in the mount is one tiny screw that screws in the the hole provided by the playstation already. Just doesn’t seem like it’s healthy for that one screw to hold up the entire weight of the PlayStation. Improvements are needed.

Before I purchased I contacted chat and asked about the ability to mount under a desk and was told yes it mounts under a desk. When I received the product I found the only way to mount the PS4 Pro and also PS4 Slim mounts I bought would be to mount them upside down. Which I don’t want to do. You can mount them upside right however the PS4 mount holes will not work so it slides back and fourth and doesn’t hold in place. The slim also can be mounted upside right but the spacing is different so there is about a half inch gap which allows for a lot of give and again the holes don’t line up so it slides back and fourth and does not remain in place. Deciding not to return the product becaus it’s to much work I have them mounted right side up under the desk with a small amount of electrical tap on each side holding them in place. ghetto and not what I wanted but I mean who knows it’s like that but me lol. Wish the chat person I spoke with would have told me this info before I purchased.
