I was so excited to receive these products and it was disappointing to not be able to compete the set up of my shop. But, I look forward to trying the reader when I can.

I needed to return an iPad case/stand due to the fact that the one offered by Shopify Hardware was not compatible with the latest iPad version, that has been out for several months now. How can this be?!? Return slip sent was only valid for 5 days, so I missed the return window due to travel. Horrible way to treat new customers, especially considering the mistake was really on the Shopify end. I spoke with (2) different hardware reps that both assured me stand would be compatible with the iPad I had purchased. When the Retail kit arrived, it was most definitely NOT compatible. All other items in retail kit (including bar code scanner and receipt printer) integrated well and are user friendly. But the stand is the most important part!

The look of it is nice, but the card reader constantly gets disconnected from the ipad. The setup of the checkout experience is very sub-par. You should correct this by making the item selection screen much larger so you can fit more and less scrolling. From a POS standpoint, Square was a vastly superior product, and we would go back to that if not for having the website on Shopify now. Also, not a POs issue, but we do invoicing where we collect 50% deposits, and this is not easy to do on your platform.

The cash drawer option doesn't have room for credit card slips and reports. The barcode label printer is glitchy.

Doesn't work for my retail company
