I have purchased a number of these devices for family. I am using one to assist me in speaking to my Peruvian family and some members do not speak English but with my time there and consistent use of the devices, their English skills have vastly improved as have my Spanish conversation. A number are studying English in their school as it seems to be the universal language these days and various Ryoko devices have them ahead of the curve because they are dedicated to learning English with my encouragement as they are teaching me Spanish so I a very good win win for everyone.
