Great sound, easy installation

Love everything about this receiver except for the brightness of the screen. I have a Flxtrs and absolutely can not see the screen.

It was easy getting the old one out but kinda tricky installing it. You need to have two people on this install unless you hate using a strap to hold it up side mount makes it had to attach accessories to the terminals.

First I must say I am very happy with my Sony XAV-AX7000. The performance it offers over the Harley head unit is outstanding. The sound is so much better, I can't describe it. The only issues (and they are really minor for me) are that I can't fully control all the functions using the handlebar controls. You can volume up/down, skip, change source, answer calls, but you can't cycle across sub-menus. Again, not a big issues. Second is you can't see the screen well if the sun is hitting it directly. Third is there is very little documentation on how to use the unit or what all the functions are/can do. Otherwise the unit is out-freaking-standing! I will say once again that GBS customer service was super! I received mine missing 1 small little dongle for the handlebar adapter, sent 1 email and 1 phone call, and they had the part to me within a couple of days.
