product is great, service not so much

great product and fast shipping, BAD communication, i orginally ordered this back in the end of march when it was listed IN STOCK, i had to wait for almost two months for the product to actually ship, and every time i got in touch with support i either was told "it'll go out the next day" or got no response at all. i really enjoy the product, but i cant recommend the service.

Lack of communication

The products are great and not offered many places, which is why this gets three stars, but the lack of communication and delayed shipping time without explicit notification does detract from the experience. Please state clearly on your site if there are any expected delays. This would give many people piece of mind instead of wondering if they products they purchased 2 -3 weeks ago will ever be shipped. Thank you!

Shipment to Canada

The store is absolutely brilliant with the rarity of classic products and entertainment all in one place. The webpage is easy to navigate and user friendly. Unfortunately for me being a Canadian customer, my order is still en route and it’s been 3 weeks since I placed my order. Very tedious and lengthy.

Good Products, Inadequate Service

My recent experience with Castlemania has tarnished my opinion of it, not so much that I will not purchase from them in the future but it has given me pause. Long ago I purchased a GameCube HDMI adapter from them, which works great and has served me well! Years later when I saw they had copies of the Streets of Rage 4 soundtrack vinyl, I was delighted because they were sold out everywhere else and I needed a gift for me game-playin' friend. I ordered the gift a month and a couple of weeks before their birthday, trying to stay ahead of the game. For an entire month I did not receive any shipping notification from Castlemania. It wasn't until I submitted two report tickets on the matter, asking what the status was that, suddenly, the item was shipped. Then a month later I got a response to my ticket saying it appeared that the item had shipped. I originally had rated two-stars but bumped it up to three because this isn't necessarily an egregious example of bad handling. Plus every item I've gotten from Castlemania has been exactly as described, well packaged, and in great shape. But the fact that I feel like my order would not have shipped unless I mentioned something is irritating. I will most likely order products from Castlemania in the future, if they have something I'm interested in. I'm just going to be cautious about how long I'm willing to wait for it to show up.
