*Legacy* Turtle Beach CA

This headset is OK, but not as amazing as I would have hoped for the price point. Within the first week of owning these the Left speaker in the headset developed an issue where it would buzz/vibrate at low frequencies like during deep bass or explosions in a game. I contacted tech support asking for an RMA, thinking it was a physical problem with the speaker inside. The first thing they had me try was to factory default the unit, which I was skeptical about (because I thought it was a physical issue) but sure enough, the reset solved the problem. The reset also seems to have improved the ANC functionality as well, so maybe there was something bugging out from the initial setup. This headset is definitely a step up from my Arctis 7 that I had previously, but I still feel like I paid too much for them. If these were priced $100 less, I think I'd feel better about this purchase. Pros: - The sound quality is very nice, and game audio is great. - The ability to simultaneously connect these to my PC and my phone is awesome. - The dual battery system is also awesome. - I think this headset looks great and isn't a flashy 'gamer-looking' headset. Cons: - These seem to have a high noise floor, even with ANC turned on. There is a ever-present grey noise you can hear, especially noticeable in between songs or when you're waiting for a game to load up. Once the audio from whatever you're listening to kicks in though, it drowns out the noise. - These things also take a very long time to boot up and connect to the transmitter. It takes a good 15-18 seconds after you've pressed the power button before you hear any audio. - The build quality feels a little weak for a headset at this price.
