This headset was supposedly their highest-rated wired headset of 2024 and I was completely disappointed. The angle of the ear cups would never seal properly, the included fabric pads were too small to even install on to the headset, the microphone would constantly fall out when I would try to adjust it, and the "bass switches" did absolutely nothing. The sound was completely flat and lacked any lower-end.
This was all within the first few hours of unpacking them!
The return process, once I found who is actually responsible for this heap, was at least quick. The included card says to call HP, who I wasn't even aware owned HyperX nowadays, misleads the user before reading the rest of the documentation. When you call them, they will then forward you a separate number to a separate company. HP's name is all over the internal documentation and facilitates the shipping, but will not handle returns or RMA. The responsible office only operates on PST office hours, so it can be difficult to reach them if you live on the East Coast and work outside of daytime hours.
Don't get duped - buy a Corsair Void Elite. It fixes all these problems for less than the cost of this.
