My first build. Boy I have a lot to learn! Awesome experience building my first amp. I chose the 1976 2204 cause I'm old school. I made some major mistakes. Thankful for the invention of fuses. Look very closely at your prints that's all I can say. Some mistakes I have made are 1) heating pots to long to solder bus bar. use high heat 750* it won't take so long to heat them up 2) Be very wary of components near your solder gun. I melted output jacks & the power switch getting to close they still work though. 3) Overlooking and missing a component and not installing. 4) Torquing screws to tight and breaking them. thank you hardware store! 5) If your not comfortable around electronics and don't known how to solder very well this isn't for you. Other than that Mojotone made sure I received everything I needed to build this kit. Staff was great to talk to and very helpful. A Great Experience to say the least!

Excellent decoupling caps. These are the only ones I use in Marshall derived circuits.
