Multiple rmas didn't fix my issue

Great support, amazing sound but they (Maxwell) don’t last longer than a year the newer no even 4 months

When Audeze changes the earpads they need to add like a "V3" or "V4" etc to the item description. I ordered these to replace the stock pads on my 2021 Audeze LCD-XC (which itself was a revision, that was reluctantly announced by Audeze on th forums, not the general public). These earpads are dramatically different than the pads that came on my 2021 LCD-XC. They are slightly deeper and the leather on the new ones is like lambskin. The original pads are much thicker COW leather, maybe 3x as thick. The original pads look, feel and sound better. This is insulting and needs to stop. At least warn people that they are getting something different, not just passing it off as the same product, when it is dramatically different. I mean, these headphones are marketed for professional audio. Anyone could look at these and tell they are different, anyone could hear and feel the difference. I have purchased all these Audeze headphones in the past: LCD-XC (twice), LCD-3, LCD-2, LCD-X, LCD-i4, LCD-5, Maxwell & iSine LX. I will not be purchasing or recommending Audeze products anymore unless these silent revisions stop.

While the product is good, it is quite costly, especially when factoring in VAT for EU customers and shipping, which is not exactly cheap.
