Instrument was purchased to replace a more complex older system that had failed during a power outtage. Cameras were already installed, so it was simple connection of the cameras to the device and minor programing to access the cameras. Device is up and running, it's intuitive to use and offers excellent visibility around the perimeter of our home. We added a hard drive which was easy to install and it interfaced well with the device.
