I had my first camera
I had my first camera at the age of 5 in 1956 and have been shooting my whole life. Mostly self-taught, I shot weddings and other life events and eventually settled into photographing performing artists, abstracts and experimental imaging.
In the early 1980s, I grabbed an opportunity to assist the world's first photo-journalist, Lucien Aigner, whose use of the newly invented Leica camera helped rocket him to fame in Europe. He was present at a lot of "hot spots" in Europe and also specialized in recording slices of life and had images in a lot of magazines and publications in the 1920s and 1930s.
Aigner taught me about using a camera as a tool and kept telling me "a good photographer with a bad camera takes better photos than a bad photographer with a good camera!".
I have most of the Moment lens for iPhone and found the wider focal length lenses give better results than the ailing 58 mm Tele. I had such high hopes of using that Tele lens on the 48 megapixel prime camera for best results, but alas, that was not to be.
