Sound the Alarms
This system was very economical, and I was very impressed at first. The doorbell cameral not only detected motion but also worked when someone was ringing the bell. The videos during the day showed me some people that were entering my house while I was gone. My son had not changed the locks on his doors when he bought the house, and frighteningly some people do not understand it is unlawful entry to enter houses that you have sold or used to live as a renter. As a result of that information, the new locks provided a little more security. However, there were also cons to this system. The quality of the videos at night were so poor that I would not ever be able to submit it to a police agency and catch the perpetrators. Furthermore, I think a former neighbor saw the name of the company on the sign out front and downloaded an app. I still found things missing on occasion. The alarm system was also connected to an internet. If the internet went off during a power outage, the alarm did not work. Battery systems and plug in systems have not worked well either. The batteries needed constant replacement, and the system was being unplugged in the hallway.
