Overall sound quality is amazing. I’m hearing things I’ve never heard before from an in ear headphones. But if you love deep bass sound these are not for you.

My UE 5 CSX are a perfect fit. They’re so comfortable. I took off one star for volume. The volume isn’t really loud. At least for Bluetooth. I had the volume turned up full through Bluetooth and it wasn’t very loud. Maybe the more expensive versions are louder? Other than that the sound is still great.

The process was virtually painless. I do recommend both having a second person to assist with the molding and photo taking process as instructed. I had to take quite a few photos using a mirror to get the correct angles. I also recommend molding and returning both sets of sizing buds l, small and large, provided. I discovered some difficulty getting either to fit my right ear properly. The finished products work and sound fabulous. The sound relative is relatively flat, which is what I desired. There is no over-pronounced bass, and the midrange and highs are clear. I was initially a bit skeptical with the price, however, after receiving the finished product, I’m pleased with both the fit and sound. I’m satisfied.

Great freq response in the mid to upper ranges, not so much at the lower freq (bass). I expected custom earbuds to fit perfectly, my UE 5's fit good. I purchased another cable without controls because I hit the controls by accident at the gym. With other earbud cables there is a clear tubing (about 3 inches in length) the cables pass through near the earbuds that allows the user to bend it around their ears to hold the cable in place - UE's cable needs this feature.
