I work in sales and take a lot notes, and do a lot of writing on a day to day basis. I had been using some smart notebooks and have tried other electronic means to write and keep track of everything until a coworker mentioned this. I spent some time looking up reviews and gathering info on the device before trying it out, and after a few weeks of use, I'm very glad I did give it a shot. Writing feels as close to writing on paper as I've ever tried, and that even includes certain physical "smart" notebooks. Response time is fast and delay is almost non-existent, especially for an e-ink device. Device saves and backs up my writing without any issue, OCR works fairly well even with my garbage handwriting (although not without issue - it's not perfect, but still decent). Why not 5 star? Battery life *is* a bit worse than you would expect. It's not bad, I get about 2-ish days with constant use, but with such a bare-bones device you'd expect more. Also, exporting isn't the most ideal - not terrible, but could be more streamlined and easier. All in all, the pros outweigh the cons, and after spending time with it I do feel as though the device is worth the price.

I love my reMarkable! I've been using it to work through a book of puzzles I have as a pdf as well as to keep a couple of notebooks for various purposes. It doesn't feel /quite/ like paper but it still feels pretty good! A couple feature requests (it's possible they already exist but I couldn't find them): 1. Make it easier to navigate books/pdfs by giving a page number rather than having to flip through each page - this seems so simple and obvious that I feel like I must have just missed it 2. Allow custom templates for notebook pages 3. Make the back of the stylus erase or have some other easy way to switch to erasing mode without needing to go into the settings to change the pen type to eraser and back

I would have given the tablet 5 Stars but one of the main features I use has disappeared. I use to be able to select and move text from one page to another or from one notebook to another. Now I can't do that anymore. If this was a "Beta" or temporary "Experimental" feature I wish they would bring it back. I found that feature very very useful indeed. Lastly, I wish the tablet had a Web browser so I could have the tablet connected to my WiFi at my job. Ours requires you to accepts the terms and conditions before you can connect a device. Any chance of adding a simple web browser for this to the tablet please? Here is a suggestion for you also, add the capability to share to multiple email addresses at once.

Love using it! However when I'm writing and need to insert something else in the body, I cant figure out how to do it.
