Excellent investment
Superb device for a paper lover like myself. Instead of all the piles of unused and barely started notebooks, I can keep everything in one place. Okay so pros and cons.
Pros: Digital Paper notebook to keep all your pages in one place. Great for drawing, keeping logs, finances, etc. Feels nice to write on. It's the size of a notebook and it's not heavy. The possibilities are only limited to your imagination up to 100,000 pages. Also, there are updates that make the reMarkable experience even better each time.
Cons: I was expecting battery life to last around 2 weeks (for some reason I was under that impression), but it lasts a few days (3-5) . It helps to turn the wifi off and airplane mode on. Also, the tips of the pen wear through for me about every 2-3 weeks. It can definitely last longer depending on use. I occasionally draw so I wear them down a bit faster. The tips aren't expensive though. I believe they are $12 for 8 tips. Last, it's pricy, but consider it an investment. Using this tablet instead of paper helps save paper which saves trees which gives people more oxygen which helps people create things like the reMarkable.
Overall, I consider this a good investment. A cell phone costs $600 plus and people buy them all the time. This device should honestly be in schools (think high school and college), offices, and anywhere paper is found (as much as possible). It's convenient, easy to use, helps keep things organized, and the updates are wonderful "upgrades" if you will.
