The adapter for the x100vi

The adapter for the x100vi not working with filters outside the polar pro system is disgusting. Feels like I bought something from apple. It looks amazing and the build quality is probable the best I've seen. But a closed eco system is never a consumer friendly practice.

I’ve spent about $1,900 with PolarPro over the years, and this experience completely changed how I view the brand. I reached out with a reasonable request regarding unused, incompatible filters and was met with a flat no. No flexibility, no alternative, nothing. For a premium company, that level of customer support is disappointing. I’ve made my last purchase from PolarPro.

My 82mm PolarPro Portra CPL

My 82mm PolarPro Portra CPL filters, adjusts light and color pretty well but the CPL aspect is extremely difficult and stiff to turn. If I’m adapting it to a non-82mm lens it either unthreads/loosens the step up ring or causes them to over tighten requiring a filter wrench to loosen them. I like its optical effects but totally hate using it. I don’t know who would ship something so miserable!

Only 3 of the 5

Only 3 of the 5 filters actually fit on the Avata 2 lens and the case they came in doesn’t fully close like my air 3s filters case closes. They aren’t really worth the price charged for them. I’ll probably end up buying a competitors set for filters that actually fit and don’t pop off simply by flying.
