Apos

I was one of the original backers and I got the plastic version initially. I liked the high profile aluminum version, so I ordered that one too. I did not expect to like it this much, it is really great! I think the sound is better, it looks better and it feels much more premium. One thing to note is that the HP version is very heavy, initially I did not pay attention to this detail, but I think this is not very portable, so I would stick with the plastic case version for portability. Also, I would appreciate a pouch / carrying case for both of them, particularly the plastic version.

The ergodox hotdox is a great spliit keyboard with a really cool design. There have been many versions of this keyboard being done by other vendors, but this is the latest, newest iteration from the original team. The columnar configuration feels like a breeze. At first I was slowly getting into it, but now I believe I am touch typing faster than I could with a regular keyboard.

Haven’t had any problems yet with Apos and easy price matching with Drop.com is a huge plus
