Doesn’t allow for Apple Pencil 2 charging

Very poor customer service. The iPad case I'd ordered was not as described on the website. When I'd asked to arrange a return by email, the emails were pleasant and I was sent a parcel label to download for the return, but the label had someone else's name and address on it from another State! I sent an email back to inform them that this was not my Return label. No response. I spent a lot of time yesterday trying to get through on the phone, but there was no answer. Websites and email addresses are confusing between the stmgoods and stmbrands, I wasn't sure if I had a genuine connection to the company. Finally got through by phone today but was told to email them back with the details. My name and order number were not asked for. Again, I'll have to try to connect by email. Not very happy with this process at all.

Have been a massive fan of STM gear for yonks. In fact, I own (and still use) 9 STM bags. Some are almost 10 years old and still kicking on strong! I've read some reviews of a downgrade in quality compared to the older stuff but I guess I wanted to see for myself, plus I really like the format and look of this new DUX messenger. Firstly the BAD... The zippers are unbranded and seem quite poor quality and often get stuck when trying to do up. All my other STM bags have YKK zips and I've never had problems with these. The stitching and and some cutouts throughout the bag seem (excuse the pun) almost hand done. The bottle holder has trouble fitting any drink bottle I have. Yes I did try a few sizes and the one in the pic is a 500ml Hydroflask and even that could not fit all the way in and remain secure. Very surprised this wasn't tested. OK if you don't advertise it as a waterbottle holder holder but it is on the STM website and it even shows a large bottle in the pic. Sorry but this doesn't hold water bottles. The grab handle feels really cheap and isn't that comfortable - there is no padding at all. It's the same one as the Myth series. The strap is fixed to the bag in one position and doesn't have any swivel points for the strap to correct itself if tangled...it has to be manually untangled which gets frustrating. Another issue is that the shoulder strap is NOT removeable which doesn't bother me too much but it is surprising...most top quality messengers I've seen have this. There are some positives amongst all the above doom and gloom. THE GOOD... The size of the bag is great and it looks pretty cool. The protection of gear inside (not just in the laptop compartment) is great. Although the drink bottle holder is a fail..all the rest of the organizational panels throughout are great. I really dig the moveable divider in the main compartment. Especially love the glasses holder in main compartment! I like the plushness of the laptop compartment and its very protected with the Slingtech system which STM has had for ages...which is great. This is where so many other messenger bags fail - not enough laptop protection (Crumpler, Topo Designs...and a few others..I'm looking at you). All in all for a bag this price, I would have expected more. I do feel as a long time STM user that the quality has slipped considerably in both components and construction. I've been using this for a little over a week and these are my thoughts. I'm going to persist and see how it goes. Bring back the old STM....the super high quality stuff. My STM trust messenger has been used as my daily bag for 8 years now and it's still in almost perfect condition and it does get thrown around a bit. PS: if anyone reading this that has an old STM Sequel bag - let me know. Sorry STM but this isn't up to scratch.
