The pen holder won’t stay in place with the attached adhesive strip. I had to super-glue it on. Also at angles below about 45 degrees the stand won’t support the computer. I have to put something between the computer and the stand to hold the angle I want.

The reason I didn’t give five stars is only that because of the pencil storage the closing doesn’t feel as tight and the iPad doesn’t click off as quickly as with other models. Maybe because I don’t have a pen to put in the space. I would have preferred a style without the pen , but I love how secure I feel knowing the toughness of the case!

This is my second STM and I had to search the web as my Apple store didn’t carry any for the mini 5 months after the mini release. I found the American site first and it was offering first responder rates and other deals not found on the Aussie site. At this time only black is available in Oz, but the design has been more protective than any other case I’ve owned. No scratches or cracks 5 years with my iPad 4. So other than these minor issues highly recommend this product.

The product is beautiful and holds the iPad very well. The problem is that the Apple Pencil doesn’t fit in the slot well so it will not charge.

Sales and delivery OK - just quality of item poor.
