Can be a bit noisy at night

The mill has been fun, it's great to see food get churned into compost. I know the service is meant to be picked up for further composting, but would like tips on how to complete the compost at home and use it on the soil. So far if I do add it to soil, it creates this really hard structure. Also don't have great instructions on how to clean it from inside

This has simplified and greatly improved our composting. We love how infrequently we have to empty the bin — so much fits given the dry/grind cycle. And there’s no gross smell or issue with fruit flies. The only downside is the price.

Love that my garbage doesn’t smell like garbage anymore, but due to our plant based diet, I feel we have more jamming than I’d like. Still it’s nice to make a difference, even small ones count.

prepaid boxes for compost return are convenient — mill itself produces good compost; but it often takes much longer than the six hours asserted by Mill.
