The Mill is a compact composing machine that is used in our home. We have been happy at how well it works, and the ease of the process.

I heard about Mill on a podcast with Molly Wood. Our experience has been fantastic. The company is great at managing expectations and delivering a needed service. It is well worth the money to help our environment.

I have several acres and a compost heap. I still love the Mill bin. No odours or fruit flies in the kitchen; no dogs or raccoons trying get at the compost on the heap. I’m downsizing soon and I’m taking the Mill bin with me. Perfect for urban, suburban or rural homes.

We love the mill, we named him ‘Bob’. We’ve noticed that the garbage doesn’t smell now. My partner doesn’t like the various noises it makes. He’s a light sleeper and gets up a lot at night. ‘Bob’ makes some strange and spooky sounds. We are using the grounds for our family farm too.

I put a majority of my food in this and there is no food smell in my garbage anymore. The pickup of my grounds is effortless.
