I work remotely and tend
I work remotely and tend to bounce around so I bough the Solis X as a backup in case the Wi-Fi at my house dies. The connection is usually stable and is fast enough for video calls, however, doing such will burn through the allotted 20GB of high speed data fairly quickly. Paying $100 for unlimited data and then being throttled from 20 Mbps all the way down to 512 Kbps (which is basically unusable these days) feels a bit scammy. To add insult to injury, once you hit your 20GB limit on the unlimited plan, the Solis app will suggest purchasing GoData in 1 GB increments for a better experience, which, is definitely not worth it at $9/GB.
tl;dr: use this as a last resort backup, not as your main Wi-Fi source.
