Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the Siren monitor. I am not IT literate, but can connect circuits and put things together. I have had some difficulty in dealing with some of the software utilization. Particularly in setting up. A better explanation of settings, eg Bilge: "Cycles". My bilge pump will cycle every 2 1/2 minutes. That would be 24 hourly cycles and 1056 daily cycles, so i don't understand the intent of the cycles setting. Also, there is not an explanation of what the Idle and Run time settings represent I forgot to turn off a fan and received a low battery alert. I notified my marina and they boarded my boat and turned off the fan. Batteries came back up on solar chargers. I recommend the product for anyone who has an unattended vessel, either moored or in a marina.

I received my new Regal 38SAV with Siren installed and installed the app on my phone only to find out the battery in the bilge sensor was dead and 1 battery sensor wasn't sending information. My dealer came out and replaced the battery and worked on the other sensor for an hour. In the end 2 battery sensors no longer worked. He called Siren for advice and was told they would reset the sensors. That didn't work and now the tech is suppose to come out to do more research. It would be nice to have all sensors working

Three + years ago when I bought and installed the siren marine it was a very reliable system which I depended on. Over the past year and a half I have had many issues with the system, false alarms, sensors not reading reliably, delays, lock-ups, no GPS or cellular signal. All of this occurred after the acquisition by Yamaha and the software (both in the background and app) was being changed. In all cases it was related to the software or database. Please stabilize the SW and use regression testing to ensure the same long term reliability that you delivered 3 years ago.
